Anti-Interleukin 3 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene IL3 in humans. The gene may also be known as IL-3, MCGF, MULTI-CSF, P-cell stimulating factor, and colony-stimulating factor, multiple. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 17.2 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
