Anti-Fructose-bisphosphatase 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene FBP1 in humans. The gene may also be known as FBP, fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase 1, and D-fructose-1,6-bisphosphate 1-phosphohydrolase 1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 36.8 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, E. coli, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
