Anti-E2F transcription factor 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene E2F1 in humans. The gene may also be known as E2f, E2F-1, RBAP1, RBBP3, RBP3, transcription factor E2F1, and PBR3. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 46.9 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, plant, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
