Anti-Cyclin dependent kinase 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CDK1 in humans. The gene may also be known as CDC2, CDC28A, P34CDC2, cell cycle controller CDC2, and cell division control protein 2 homolog. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 34.1 kilodaltons in mass. The CDK1 marker can be used to identify Alveolar Macrophages Proliferating Cells.* Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
