Anti-BCL6 transcription repressor antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene BCL6 in humans. The gene may also be known as B cell CLL/lymphoma 6, B cell leukemia/lymphoma 6, B-cell CLL/lymphoma 6, BCL5, BCL6A, and B-cell lymphoma 6 protein. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 78.8 kilodaltons in mass. The BCL6 marker can be used to identify Centrocytes and Centroblasts.* Based on gene name, plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
