Anti-TPA antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene PLAT, or 'plasminogen activator, tissue type' in humans. The 562-amino acid protein is a member of the Peptidase S1 family. The cellular localization is predicted to be secreted. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
