Anti-BCA1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target BCA1 is a known alias name of the protein C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 13, encoded by the CXCL13 gene in humans. This 109-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in GTPase activation and receptor-mediated signaling pathways, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the liver, followed by spleen, lymph node, appendix and stomach. Other synonyms for BCA1 include ANGIE, ANGIE, and ANGIE2. Western Blot is a widely used application for the BCA1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
