Anti-CDw125 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CDw125 is a known alias name of the protein interleukin 5 receptor subunit alpha, encoded by the IL5RA gene in humans. This 420-amino acid residue protein is a reported cell surface receptor that plays an important role in the survival, differentiation, and chemotaxis of eosinophils. It is localized to the membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is noted to be expressed on eosinophils and basophils. Other synonyms for CDw125 include CD125 and CD125. Western Blot is the most common application for the CDw125 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
