Anti-RADX antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RPA1 related single stranded DNA binding protein, X-linked. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 855 amino acid residues and a mass of 97.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the chromosomes. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. Synonyms for this target antigen include RPA-related protein RADX, RPA-related and RAD51-antagonist, X-chromosome, RPA-related, RAD51-antagonist on X-chromosome, uncharacterized protein CXorf57, and CXorf57. RADX gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
