Anti-CFAP119 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cilia and flagella associated protein 119. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 331 amino acid residues and a mass of 37.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell projections and cytoplasm. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the testis, fallopian tube, and bronchus. Synonyms for this target antigen include coiled-coil domain containing 189 and coiled-coil domain-containing protein 189. CFAP119 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
