Anti-DNAAF8 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein dynein axonemal assembly factor 8. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 520 amino acid residues and a mass of 55.7 kDa. It is reported to be expressed in respiratory ciliated cells. Synonyms for this target antigen include dynein axonemal-associated protein 1 and uncharacterized protein C16orf71. DNAAF8 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chicken species.
