Anti-KASH domain containing 5 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the KASH5 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 562 amino acid residues and a mass of 62.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is noted to be involved in DNA repair and cytoskeleton organization. Other names for this target antigen include KASH domain-containing protein 5, coiled-coil domain containing 155, and protein KASH5. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species.
