Anti-zinc ribbon domain containing 2 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the ZNRD2 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 199 amino acid residues and a mass of 21.5 kDa. It is noted to be involved in the cell cycle. Other names for this target antigen include p27, protein ZNRD2, Sjogren syndrome/scleroderma autoantigen 1, Sjogren's syndrome/scleroderma autoantigen 1, autoantigen p27, and SSSCA1. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
