Anti-alphaSnap antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The alphaSnap antigen is another term for the human protein NSF attachment protein alpha, encoded by the NAPA gene. The protein is known to be required for vesicular transport between the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi apparatus (Probable). Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 295 residues and a mass of 33.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The alphaSnap protein is a member of the SNAP protein family.
