Anti-RQC2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RQC2 is a known alias name of the protein nuclear export mediator factor, encoded by the NEMF gene in humans. This 1076-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the assembly of protein complexes, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the brain, heart, liver, lung, spleen, and skeletal muscle.
