Anti-erg-28 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target erg-28 is a known alias name of the protein ergosterol biosynthesis 28 homolog, encoded by the ERG28 gene in humans. This 140-amino acid residue protein is a member of the ERG28 protein family. It is localized to the ER of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
