Anti-LPLAT1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target LPLAT1 is a known alias name of the protein 1-acylglycerol-3-phosphate O-acyltransferase 1, encoded by the AGPAT1 gene in humans. This 283-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the metabolism of lipids, among other biological processes. It is localized to the ER of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types.
