Anti-PCDHB6 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein protocadherin beta 6. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 794 amino acid residues and a mass of 87.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. PCDHB6 is known to be involved with cell adhesion and chemical synaptic transmission. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. PCDHB6 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the PCDHB6 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
