Anti-CD105 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene ENG, or 'endoglin' in humans. The 658-amino acid protein has a reported mass of 70,578 daltons and the CD105 antigen is a documented mesenchymal and hematopoeietic stem cell marker. The cellular localization is predicted to be membrane-associated. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
