This target is a reported synonym of the PDCD1LG2 gene, which encodes programmed cell death 1 ligand 2. This protein is known to function in adaptive immune responses and receptor-mediated signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of B7DC has a canonical amino acid length of 273 residues and a protein mass of 31 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified.
