Anti-HERP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HERP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the HERPUD1 gene, which encodes homocysteine inducible ER protein with ubiquitin like domain 1. This protein is known to function in the regulation of apoptosis, among other biological roles. The human version of HERP has a canonical amino acid length of 391 residues and a protein mass of 43.7 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as Mif1. Some HERP antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Indicated applications for the antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
