Anti-RERGL antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RERG like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 205 amino acid residues and a mass of 23.9 kDa. A member of the Ras protein family, RERGL is known to bind GDP/GTP and may possess intrinsic GTPase activity. The RERGL marker can be used to identify Brain Vascular Non-Neuronal Cells.* Synonyms for this target antigen include ras-related and estrogen-regulated growth inhibitor-like protein and RERG/RAS-like. RERGL gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Indicated applications for RERGL antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
