Anti-c-Rel antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the c-Rel antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the REL gene, which encodes REL proto-oncogene, NF-kB subunit. This protein is known to function in inflammatory response pathways and innate immune responses, among other biological roles. The human version of c-Rel has a canonical amino acid length of 619 residues and a protein mass of 68.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. Other names for this target antigen include HIVEN86A and IMD92. Western Blot is the most common application for the c-Rel antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
