The TY1 tag is a 10-residue peptide epitope with the amino acid sequence, EVHTNQDPLD. The epitope may also be used in repeat sequences, such as with 2x-TY1 or 3x-TY1. TY1 antibodies may be useful tools in the immunological detection or purification of TY1-tagged fusion proteins.
