Anti-Cdc25 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Cdc25 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CDC25C gene, which encodes cell division cycle 25C. This protein is known to function in cell division and cell proliferation, among other biological roles. The human version of Cdc25 has a canonical amino acid length of 473 residues and a protein mass of 53.4 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Cdc25 is a member of the MPI phosphatase protein family. ELISA and Western Blot are common applications for Cdc25 antibodies.
