Anti-PDZ domain containing 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PDZK1 in humans. The gene may also be known as CAP70, CLAMP, NHERF-3, NHERF3, Na(+)/H(+) exchange regulatory cofactor NHE-RF3, and CFTR-associated protein of 70 kDa. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 57.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
