Anti-FOXR1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein forkhead box R1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 292 amino acid residues and a mass of 33.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the testis. FOXR1 is known to be a transcription factor which acts as both an activator and a repressor. Synonyms for this target antigen include forkhead box protein R1 and forkhead box protein N5. FOXR1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the FOXR1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
