Anti-UPF1 RNA helicase and ATPase antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene UPF1 in humans. The gene may also be known as smg-2, HUPF1, NORF1, RENT1, pNORF1, regulator of nonsense transcripts 1, and ATP-dependent helicase RENT1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 124.3 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
