Anti-RNH1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ribonuclease/angiogenin inhibitor 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 461 amino acid residues and a mass of 50 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. RNH1 is reported to be a ribonuclease inhibitor, which inhibits RNASE1, RNASE2 and ANG. Synonyms for this target antigen include RNH, ribonuclease inhibitor, placental RNase inhibitor, placental ribonuclease inhibitor, testicular tissue protein Li 164, and RAI. RNH1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of RNH1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
