Anti-MCRIP1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein MAPK regulated corepressor interacting protein 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 97 amino acid residues and a mass of 10.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the MCRIP protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include granulin-2, protein FAM195B, and family with sequence similarity 195, member B. MCRIP1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some MCRIP1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunocytochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
