Anti-CD126 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CD126 antigen is another term for the human protein interleukin 6 receptor, encoded by the IL6R gene. The protein is known to be a part of the receptor for interleukin 6. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 468 residues and a mass of 51.5 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and is secreted. The CD126 protein is a member of the Type I cytokine receptor protein family.
