Anti-F-Box Protein 47 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the FBXO47 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 452 amino acid residues and a mass of 52 kDa. It is found to be widely expressed, with highest levels in kidney, liver and pancreas. It is suspected to be recognizes and binds to some phosphorylated proteins and promotes their ubiquitination and degradation. Other names for this target antigen include F-box only protein 47.
