Anti-PRDM 16 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PRDM 16 is a known alias name of the protein PR/SET domain 16, encoded by the PRDM16 gene in humans. This 1276-amino acid residue protein is known to bind DNA and functions as a transcriptional regulator. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in uterus and kidney. Other synonyms for PRDM 16 include histone-lysine N-methyltransferase PRDM16, MDS1/EVI1-like gene 1, and PR domain 16. Indicated applications for PRDM 16 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
