Anti-RKIP antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene PEBP1, or 'phosphatidylethanolamine binding protein 1' in humans. The 187-amino acid protein is a member of the Phosphatidylethanolamine-binding protein family. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic.
