Anti-TMEM51 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 51. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 253 amino acid residues and a mass of 27.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. Synonyms for this target antigen include C1orf72. TMEM51 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. These TMEM51 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
