Anti-CD62E antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CD62E is a known alias name of the protein selectin E, encoded by the SELE gene in humans. This 610-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in inflammatory response pathways, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the bone marrow and colon. Other synonyms for CD62E include ELAM and ELAM1. Some CD62E antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
