Anti-Granzyme A antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene GZMA in humans. The gene may also be known as Hf, SE1, CTLA3, HFSP, and CTL tryptase. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 29 kilodaltons in mass. The GZMA marker can be used to identify Mature Natural Killer Cells and CD4+ ?ß Cytotoxic T Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
