Anti-T cell receptor alpha variable 7 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the TRAV7 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 112 amino acid residues and a mass of 12.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is noted to be involved in adaptive immune responses. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation.
