Anti-Aly antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Aly antigen is another term for the human protein Aly/REF export factor, encoded by the ALYREF gene. The protein is known to be an export adapter involved in nuclear export of spliced and unspliced mRNA. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 257 residues and a mass of 26.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm and it is reported to be expressed in a wide variety of cancer types. The Aly protein is a member of the ALYREF protein family. Indicated applications for Aly antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
