Anti-Caspase 6 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CASP6 in humans. The Caspase 6 protein has an expected mass of 33.3 kDa, but there are 2 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as MCH2, apoptotic protease MCH-2, and caspase 6, apoptosis-related cysteine peptidase. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
