Anti-RIP3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the RIP3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RIPK3 gene, which encodes receptor interacting serine/threonine kinase 3. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and viral immune response, among other biological roles. The human version of RIP3 has a canonical amino acid length of 518 residues and a protein mass of 56.9 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells. RIP3 is a member of the TKL Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family.
