Anti-RTR1 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene RPAP2, or 'RNA polymerase II associated protein 2' in humans. The 612-amino acid protein is a member of the RPAP2 family. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic and nuclear.
