Anti-Neuropilin 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene NRP1 in humans. The gene may also be known as BDCA4, CD304, Npn1, NP1, NRP, and transmembrane receptor. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 103.1 kilodaltons in mass. The NRP1 marker can be used to identify Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cells.* Based on gene name, yeast, plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
