Anti-NCKAP1L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein NCK associated protein 1 like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1127 amino acid residues and a mass of 128.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is found to be preferentially expressed in cells of hematopoietic origin. A member of the HEM-1/HEM-2 protein family, NCKAP1L is known to be an important hematopoietic-specific regulator of the actin cytoskeleton (Probable). Synonyms for this target antigen include IMD72, hematopoietic protein 1, membrane-associated protein hem-1, and HEM1. NCKAP1L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some NCKAP1L antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations.
