Anti-Cig5 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Cig5 is a known alias name of the protein radical S-adenosyl methionine domain containing 2, encoded by the RSAD2 gene in humans. This 361-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in T cell differentiation and viral immune response, among other biological processes. It is localized to the Golgi, ER, and mitochondria of the cell and features ubiquitinated and acetylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Indicated applications for Cig5 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
