Anti-GPR78 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein G protein-coupled receptor 78. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 363 amino acid residues and a mass of 39.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, GPR78 is categorized as a type of orphan receptor. GPR78 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of GPR78 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
