Anti-GPHa antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target GPHa is a known alias name of the protein glycoprotein hormones, alpha polypeptide, encoded by the CGA gene in humans. This 116-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in GPCR signaling pathways and the regulation of cell migration, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the pituitary gland and placenta. Other synonyms for GPHa include CG-ALPHA, FSHA, and GPA1. ELISA is the most common application for the GPHa antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
