Anti-ZNF618 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc finger protein 618. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 954 amino acid residues and a mass of 105 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and chromosomes. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, ZNF618 is reported to regulate UHRF2 function as a specific 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (5hmC) reader by regulating its chromatin localization. Synonyms for this target antigen include neural precursor cell expressed, developmentally down-regulated 10. ZNF618 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These ZNF618 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
