Anti-CD147 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CD147 antigen is another term for the human protein basigin (Ok blood group), encoded by the BSG gene. The protein is known to be important for normal retinal maturation and development (By similarity). Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 385 residues and a mass of 42.2 kilodaltons. and it is reported to have [isoform 1]: retina-specific expression.
