Anti-U2A' antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target U2A' is a known alias name of the protein small nuclear ribonucleoprotein polypeptide A', encoded by the SNRPA1 gene in humans. This 255-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in pre-mRNA splicing as component of the spliceosome. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
